The prognosis for individuals with shoulder pain is strongly influenced by the ALLIANCE BETWEEN PATIENT AND THERAPIST. This 1.5-day course will enhance clinicians’ ability to foster patient engagement and progression by integrating patient-centered principles with evidence-based manual therapy interventions. Lectures will focus on underlying concepts and best practices in shoulder rehab. Lab sessions provide guided opportunities to apply examination techniques and refine manual therapy skills in a supervised, hands-on learning environment.

  • Explore current conservative, surgical and post-surgical strategies using classifications to strengthen clinical reasoning and individualize exercise / treatment planning.
  • Improve your understanding of shoulder pathology and progression of instability.
  • Practice new / varied mobilizations and intervention strategies that are immediately applicable.
