Beeswax Candle Workshop with Pine Barrens Post

Join us as Pine Barrens Post leads us through the ancient craft of hand-dipping beeswax candles.

Beeswax candles are symbols of purity and light and have been used for centuries for spiritual and sacred practices such as honoring ancestors, meditation and prayer. Hand-dipping candles is a rhythmic process of dipping cotton wick into hot wax, over and over, slowly building layer upon layer.

Participants will leave with knowledge of how beeswax is made and a pair of beautiful golden candles.
