We’re making . . .

A summer meadow from wire!

Iron wire is a lovely material to work with. Soft and pliable enabling you to create characterful objects and shapes, with a drawn-like quality and rustic charm. We'll try a variety of techniques using various gauges of wire to create a small hanging piece inspired by flowers and foliage from a summery meadow.

No skills required so anyone and everyone! It is quite intricate and fiddly so good dexterity with your hands is helpful!

Twirling wire to create leaf and flowery shapes

What you’ll need to bring . . .

Just yourself!

Wire can be a surprisingly messy material to work with! You can bring fine gloves but this a very tactile craft and sometimes it's better just to get a little dirty!

I'm Sharon, a graduate of Glasgow School of Art with a lifelong passion for textiles, craft and design.

I’m a fidget! I love to tinker and flit between multiple crafts including stitch, embroidery, crochet, felting, needle-felting, papermaking, textile & paper collage, wire art.

Refund Requests

I have a no refunds policy, but I will look at requests on a case by case basis.

Changing your mind or realising you cannot attend after booking are not valid reasons for refund.

Refund of payment (less Eventbrite fee) for a class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled, minus a 10% admin fee.
