Midwinter is not a time for awakening.It is a time for descending.

This gong bath is an invitation to slow down, withdraw, and rest deeply at the darkest point of the year - a moment when the Earth is still, and we are meant to be still too.

Through the immersive vibrations of gongs, you will be guided into a state of deep rest and nervous system regulation. A space where the body can soften, the mind can quieten, and awareness naturally turns inward - into listening, sensing, and integration.

Midwinter Deep Rest is inspired by the ancient understanding that regeneration does not begin with action, but with withdrawal. Like the mythic descent of Persephone into the underworld, this is not about loss or darkness for its own sake, but about returning to the fertile ground within, where rest becomes the source of renewal.

This session is not about setting intentions or striving for change.

It is about allowing - allowing the body to rest, allowing the mind to settle, allowing what is no longer needed to gently fall away.

This gong bath offers:

• space for rest, integration, and restoration

No experience is needed. Simply lie down, get comfortable, and let the sound hold you.

Bring a yoga mat, blanket, and anything that helps you feel warm and comfortable.

***H&S and Accessibility***

Special cautions for participation in the sound sessions: people with a pacemaker, pregnant women (to be agreed with a host), people suffering from epilepsy or severe mental health issues (GP/your consultant's consultation might be advised prior to attending the sound healing session).

If you use a hearing aid it is advisable to turn it off for the sound bath part of the event.

The venue is accessible for the wheelchair users.
