Our Friendmaking Social is created for YOU! Come alone and leave with friends! Make friends to tick off your bucket list with, get a house share together or just to have some gal pals in the city.

We can all agree that it can be hard in the city to create those initial connections especially in hostels or at work. This is your opportunity to make new connections with other like minded girls in a lovely environment full of working holiday girls where everyone is looking to make friends and are open to conversations. 🙌🏻

We know that it can seem daunting to come to an event alone and we make it as easy as you can to give you the confidence to come.

What to expect:

⭐️ Instagram Group Chat – We’ll create an Instagram group chat 48 hours before the event, so you can introduce yourself or even meet up beforehand.

⭐️ Friendly Hosts – Upon arrival, one of our lovely hosts will greet you and guide you through the evening, helping to introduce you to other girls.

⭐️ Welcome Drink & Name Tags – Enjoy a complimentary sparkling wine or soft drink on arrival, and grab a name tag (because let’s be honest, remembering everyone’s name is a talent 😉).

⭐️ Friendmaking Activities – Starting at 6:30 pm, these activities are designed to get everyone in the room chatting and connecting.

⭐️ Reserved Area – We have a space reserved just for us girls, so you can feel super comfortable knowing that everyone is there to make new friends ❤️.

The Details:

Where? Hotel Esplanade, St Kilda (in the sunroom)

How many girls will be attending? We are capping tickets at 25 girls - lots of new friends!

T&C’s:

- Arrive between 6-6.30pm for your drink on arrival

- No refunds however you can sell or transfer your ticket to someone else

- Photos will be taken at the event for promotion purposes. If you would not like to be in the pictures, please let one of the volunteers know in the evening.

-Social open to girls aged 18-35 on Working Holidays and other similar visas.
