Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center (SRBCC) proudly welcomes David Rivera y la Bámbula for their Chicago debut, presented as part of SRBCC’s 55th Anniversary Year.

This benefit concert supports SRBCC’s Artist Fund, which helps cover artist fees for visiting artists and sustains paid opportunities for independent musicians from Chicago and Puerto Rico. As SRBCC enters FY2026 facing a 60% reduction in operational support, the Puente Sonoro 55 concert series is a vital way for our community to keep this fund strong—and keep artists working.

David Rivera is a Puerto Rican recording artist, composer, arranger, and educator whose sound moves across Latin music, jazz, gospel, rock, and pop. A 2004 BEST Scholarship recipient, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and has collaborated in concerts and recordings with artists including Ron Kenoly, John Benítez, Gonzalo Grau, Pedro Capó, Chucho Valdés, and Gilberto Santa Rosa.

David Rivera es un artista puertorriqueño de grabación, compositor, arreglista y educador, cuyo sonido transita entre la música latina, el jazz, el góspel, el rock y el pop.
