BOTSWANA BENEFIT CONCERT

Botswana is the Companion Diocese of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, The Rt. Rev. Samuel Rodman and Assistant Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Jennifer Brook-Davidson. In May 2026, fourteen women Seminarians who had completed their studies, have been denied being ordained over the past 10 years because of their gender. Finally, the historic ordination will take place at the Anglican Cathedral on May 17, 2026 in Gaborone, Botswana. There is a delegation from the Diocese who will witness this long awaited celebration to the priesthood. It will be led by the Chair of the Botswana Companion Link Commitee, Rev. Miriam Saxon.
