Solo project of Terrence Richard, frontman of the hugely popular Charlotte alt-rock outfit Junior Astronomers, launched in 2021.As with many of the lyrics he wrote for Junior Astronomers, Richards makes it easy for listeners to identify with his tales, subbing in their own individual stories to be able to relate to the music.

Alan Charmer, the solo project that combines Richard’s middle name with the nickname of a beloved cousin, speaks softly yet strongly from the heart in a way that might only be possible for him in this format.

Menastree

Menastree was born in late 2014 from musicians/producers Jesse Lemar Williams, DJ Lil Tone, and vocalist Jeremy Mayher but has since evolved into a cast of adept local musicians including Braxton Bateman, Zach Wheeler, Malcolm Charles, Wenisha Massey, Curt Keyz, Stefan Kallander, and Marcus Jones. Menastree weaves elements of hip-hop, trip, house, jazz, and R&B to create a completely new and eclectic “feel good” sound.

PHAZE GAWD, born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a rising hip-hop artist with a unique sound and undeniable talent. Growing up in a household with a musician as a father, it was only a matter of time before he ventured off and created music of his own. His passion for writing, especially poetry and short stories, is evident in his music.
