About This Event
The Minster community bring you this live theatre event based on the life of local legend William Herschel.
Caroline Herschel, trailblazing comet sweeper, draws back the drapes of time to meet with the ghost of her famous brother, William, the astronomer and musician. Together They haunt the Minster with tales of stargazing. They meet with apparitions and gleefully conjure up William’s beautiful organ music. Melody and memory provide a ghoulish backdrop to the tale of Caroline’s extraordinary, astronomical life.
This performance closes the 2026 Festival of Women. Everybody is welcome to attend!
