About This Event

A beginners guide to do-it-yourself harvesting of rainwater, air conditioning condensate, and grey water (shower/washing machine).

We will explore the Do-It-Yourself world of water catchment in the modern home. This will include rain, AC condensation, and graywater from the shower. By collecting water from rainfall, air conditioning condensate, and graywater collection, you can significantly decrease your dependence on municipal sources. There will be plenty of How-To pictures in the accompanying presentation as well as scale models of some of the features.

*50-gallon Rain barrels will be available to purchase for a nominal fee!
