Vegetative Propagation of Native Plants

Join us for our newest addition to our propagation series, presented by Rose Flores, Eco Centro Director. This workshop will dive into the anatomy and physiology of native herbaceous plants and what steps and materials you will need to propagate them.

Springtime is the perfect time of year to start thinking about adding to your native plant collection, but you don't have to spend money to increase your plants! This workshopwill dive deep into what makes herbaceous cuttings the easiest way to propagate plants and even have an opportunity to practice your new skills with a take-home demo! Learn the proper way to reproduce plants, the parts of a plant relevant to propagation, and be able to demonstrate how to process a basic cutting.

Participants should be ready to get their hands dirty with some hands-on demonstrations and take home a plant!

$10 fee covers the cost of materials
