From echoes of KL to distant horizons in Berlin, this programme traces choral soundscapes near and far, shaped by awe, wonder, and the thrill of what lies ahead. Music by Kai Young Chan, Jake Runestad, and Ēriks Ešenvalds reflects paths already travelled and those yet unseen. Join us on a soul-searching journey where arrival is never the destination, but a moment of becoming — as we listen, wander, and discover our own voice.

Donate-As-You-Wish Tickets

This recital is presented on a donate-as-you-wish basis, with an encouraged minimum donation of $20 per ticket. Donations of $50 and above per ticket will be automatically entered into a Lucky Draw, which includes exciting prizes! All donations will support the choir’s year-end concert tour to Prague and Berlin, enabling VOS City Chorus to share Singapore’s choral voice on the international stage.

Age Limit

No admission for infants-in-arms. Admission for audience aged 4 years and above is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance.

Late Seating Advisory

For the enjoyment of all audience members, the concert will start promptly at 8pm. Doors open 15 minutes before the start time. Late admission may only be permitted during a suitable pause.

Photography & Videography

Non-flash photography and videography is permitted. In consideration of other audience members, tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Tickets sold are non-refundable by default. However, a full refund of the ticket price will be issued to all ticket holders should the performance need to be cancelled. The Eventbrite fee may not be refundable.

About VOS City Chorus

The VOS City Chorus, led by award-winning conductor Chong Wai Lun, is a dynamic multi-generational mixed-voice choir for adults aged 21 and above. Geared towards choral excellence while embracing the beauty of the human voice across all generations, the chorus offers a diverse programme spanning classical to contemporary genres, designed for SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) voices.

As part of the Voices of Singapore family, the chorus made its debut at the VOS Festival in September 2024. In 2025, the VOS City Chorus participated in the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod, where it was awarded a Gold Award. Beyond traditional choral performances, the chorus embraces cross-genre collaborations, including a cinematic performance of Beauty and the Beast In Concert with the Orchestra of the Music Makers in January 2025, and a joint project with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra in April 2025, performing Feng Ya Song.

Voices of Singapore (VOS) is a not-for-profit arts organisation with a range of performance ensembles, an education wing that provides top-quality singing education through the Children’s Choir, as well as hosts the annual VOS Festival, Singapore’s largest non-competitive choral festival. With a belief that music should be made accessible to all, VOS also seeks to engage children with special needs through the Starlight Music-making Programme and Starlight Voices.
