Soap Making Workshop

Join us for a cold process soap making workshop infused with creativity, and connection. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the art of crafting soap using pure, natural ingredients with grass-fed beef tallow as the nourishing base. Led by Soap Maker Alana, of Growin' Roots.

Together, we’ll walk through each step of the soap making process, from blending oils and lye to infusing botanicals and essential oils for a nourishing finish. You’ll watch a full demonstration of the cold process method, gain confidence in working safely with natural materials, and discover how to adapt recipes to make at home.

Each participant will take home a handmade tallow soap and a detailed resource guide to continue creating soaps on your own. No prior experience needed just curiosity and a love of slow, intentional crafting.

About the Facilitator: Alana handcrafts natural skincare products using organic ingredients that honor both body and earth. From grass-fed beef tallow soaps to herbal-infused salves and gentle face scrubs, each creation designed to nourish and support the skin. When Alana is not teaching yoga, working on a farm, or making soaps you can find her participating in beach cleanups giving back to Mother Earth which inspires so much of her work.
