Rooted in Resilience: Black History, Healing, and Public HealthThis Black History Month event is a guided reflective walk-through that connects African American history to public health themes such as health equity, structural racism, resilience, mental health, and community healing.


Free, publicly accessible Smithsonian museum located on the National Mall. Accessible via Smithsonian Metro Station (Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines). No food, alcohol, or reserved space required. Participants will engage in a guided, self-paced reflective walk-through.
