About This Event

This workshop will look at how pantos can help us with improv!

Join us for a special panto-themed workshop, just in time for Christmas! (Ok, its only a few weeks too late!)

If you're not familiar with the British tradition of pantomime, you can expect classic tales retold with a sprinkling of slapstick humour, genderfuckery, and audience participation. These are all useful tools for any improvisor to have in their arsenal.

This workshop will be hosted by Adam Sawyers. Adam spent his teenage years appearing in local pantomimes (oh yes he did) but these days panto "is behind him".

You might recognise Adam's handsome bald face from various Improv Cooperative events, or as a founding member of Glasgow improv team The Clap, with whom he has performed with since 2017.

Our venue is located next to Queen's Park station, with on-street parking outside (subject to availability). The venue is fully accessible.

By attending this workshop you agree to abide by our code of conduct, which can be found at www.linktr.ee/theimprovcooperative

This event is a part of The Improv Cooperative. Find us on Facebook and Instagram @TheImprovCooperative for more shows, jams, and workshops!
