About This Event

The first of two workshops to designed to build your leadership skills and confidence.

Topics

Module 1: Foundations of Leadership

Foundations, supporting theories, key influences and styles.
Self-awareness and discussion on leadership characteristics and activity to identify participants’ strengths/areas of connection.
Ethical frameworks: Leadership is about achieving powerful things through and with other people. Conduct and integrity matter.

Module 2: Core Soft Skills for Leadership

Active listening techniques
Giving and receiving feedback
Persuasive communication
Nonverbal communication
Communications channels
Conflict resolution and negotiation
Relationship building
Emotional intelligence
Adaptability and resilience

Participants earn a certificate of completion. Free parking is available. We will break for lunch. Lunch is available for purchase nearby.
