Larry McMurtry’s Cowboy Cavalcade: A Touching and at Times Comedic Tribute to the American West

Yeeeeeeeeeeehaw! Or more like Yeeeeeeeeehaw Ha Ha! Yes, that’s more like it. Come on down and enjoy a heaping helping of cowboys, cavalcades, and comedy! The west is still wild, folks, and it can only be tamed through the power of communal laughter. So unhitch your horse, walk it out to your driveway, help it get into the backseat or tie it down to the roof, and head over to Fallout Theater where legendary scribe of the west Larry McMurtry, his friend and real-life cowboy, Billy the Adult (as opposed to Billy the Kid), and a band of their most comedic compadres attempt to make that inhospitable desert a bit more friendly.

Author Larry McMurtry steps onto the stage for one night only to share his affections for the west, literature, and himself. Billy the Adult seeks to bring a little mildness to the wildness of the west in the form of manners and common decency. Folks, you can't spell "clown" without "cow," and you can't spell "cowboy" without "cow" either, so that's the connection!

REFUND POLICY:

In order to allow us time to fill your seat in our limited capacity, refunds can only be made 24 hours before the start of the show. Due to our currently limited capacity and online ticket policy, if you purchase tickets and are a no-show on the night of the performance – you forfeit the right to a refund. We recommend audiences to be 18 or older due to mature content on stage; however, those under 18 are welcome with parental discretion.

CONCESSIONS / ALCOHOL

Drinks available for purchase at Fallout Theater's bar. NO BYOB. To drink you must be 21+, but you can still see our shows without drinking if you are under 21. Our programming tends to be PG-13 & up! Concessions available at box office.

PARKING

Street parking is usually available within a 2 block radius of the theater. Try parking north of 7th Street on Lavaca, or west of Lavaca near Guadalupe & 8th (by the old library).
