About This Event
Yoga is often seen as a physical practice, yet its deeper purpose is to cultivate awareness and connection.
Yoga is often seen as a physical practice, yet its deeper purpose is to cultivate awareness and connection. Rooted in the Sanskrit word yuj, meaning to join or unite, yoga invites the integration of body, breath, and mind.
In this Level 1 Vinyasa class, we will explore how breath supports movement and how intentional breathing can create greater steadiness, clarity, and presence. Through guided yoga practice, breathwork, and mindful awareness, participants are invited to reconnect with their inner experience and approach yoga as a form of daily support that extends beyond the mat. This yoga workshop takes place within a gallery room filled with artwork centered on healing, growth, and resilience, inviting participants to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
This session is suitable for beginners and those seeking a gentle, mindful practice that supports both physical ease and emotional regulation.
Please bring your own yoga mat and water, and wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement.
About the Instructor
Den Yoga
Den Yoga is a foreigner-friendly yoga studio founded by American instructor Betty Ford, an accomplished yoga teacher, former elite competitive bodybuilder, and Lululemon Legacy Ambassador. Den Yoga blends strength training with mindful movement through five signature classes designed to help students strengthen, lengthen, and tone. Offerings range from Den Yoga Fit, a full-body class combining yoga, light weights, and BETTYBAND resistance bands, to Den Booty, a lower-body focused strength class, as well as Den Yoga Flow 1 for beginners, Den Yoga Flow 2 for more challenging, dynamic sequences, and Den Down Yoga, a slower-paced class emphasizing deep stretches, relaxation, and recovery.
