February Coffee Morning: Celebrate Lunar New Year

Coffee Morning is a free monthly gathering where the international community comes together to enjoy coffee, tea, and light snacks while learning from expert speakers about practical and engaging topics related to life in Taiwan.

February Coffee Morning invites you to gather for a warm and engaging celebration of the Lunar New Year in Taiwan. Together, we’ll explore the festival’s rich history and cultural traditions in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Enjoy light refreshments while learning about classic Lunar New Year foods, and watch live demonstrations of traditional paper cutting and Chinese calligraphy that highlight the artistry and symbolism of the season.

You’ll also take part in making Tangyuan (湯圓), a sweet rice dumpling traditionally enjoyed during the Lunar New Year. We’ll cook and enjoy them together while learning about their meaning and role in the festival. Come connect, chat, and celebrate the season with friends old and new at the Center.
