EuroClio Annual Conference: History and Hope

We are proud to organise our upcoming Annual Conference together with the House of European History! Join us in Brussels from Monday, April 27 to Wednesday, April 29, 2026, for three days of inspiring professional development and cultural happenings. This in-person event provides an opportunity for networking with history educators and other professionals from around Europe and beyond. Together, we will examine the meaning and practice of bringing hope into (history) classrooms in a time marked by social crises and anxieties. Can we inspire agency to build a better future - and if so, how?

We are pleased to host returning events from our Historiana Teaching & Learning Team and affiliates from Project Zero, and announce learning opportunities and cultural programmes in local museums and education. Once again, we will offer an extensive roster of workshops related to the annual topic. Please stay tuned for a more detailed agenda, which will be announced on a dedicated website and updated regularly in the coming months.

The event will mainly take place at the European Parliament and the House of European History.
