Emma Pattee is a climate journalist and fiction writer. Her work has been published in The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and elsewhere. She lives in Oregon.

As a member of the Writing Heights Writers Association's leadership team, J.R. Palubicki spends most of his free time advocating for writers and building community among authors, poets, and people just starting their writing journeys. Palubicki is one of the original members of the Tattered Cover Writers Club and is currently working on his debut speculative science fiction novel. Palubicki has spent his professional career as a marketer and was the director/producer on a documentary short film, "Shocked." He has always been a writer and has degrees in Journalism and Public Relations.
