About This Event

NHM’s initiative, Museums in Conversation continues: Easter egg decorating and Museum wide egg hunt.

Celebrate Easter Egg traditions from around the Orthodox world at Eggs Across Traditions, a hands-on family program presented by the National Hellenic Museum’s Museums in Conversation in collaboration with the Ukranian National Museum, at 10:30am on Saturday, March 28th.

Children and families will explore how different cultures decorate Easter eggs, learn the stories behind the symbolic significance, and move around the world to learn from each culture. This interactive event invites young learners to discover shared traditions of renewal, creativity, and community across cultures.

After, at 11am, participate in a Museum wide Easter Egg Hunt! Search among the exhibits for Greek traditional red eggs.
