Crystal Womb by Gábor Kitzinger @ Bright Brussels 2026

From 12 to 15 February 2026, Bright Brussels Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary, once again transforming the heart of Brussels into a magical nighttime journey filled with light, art, and heritage.

Among the featured works is Crystal Womb by Hungarian video artist Gábor Kitzinger, a graduate of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) and member of the Glowing Bulbs visual studio. The installation uses an advanced adaptation of the Pepper’s Ghost technique to create the illusion of a levitating three-dimensional hologram.

Crystal Womb invites visitors into an interactive experience where a chaotic, noisy particle universe can be transformed through hand gestures into a fragile, living human embryo. As the audience engages, sound and visuals soften, creating an intimate encounter that explores empathy, care, and the idea of new beginnings. The work reflects on the delicate balance between chaos and nurture, and the powerful role of human presence in shaping emerging life.
