Sue Weldon’s journey as a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and healthcare advocate began with her heartfelt mission to empower those facing breast and ovarian cancer. As the CEO and Founder of Unite for HER, she has devoted her life’s work to enhancing the lives of those impacted by the disease through a comprehensive, integrative approach to whole-patient care and support.
Her own personal battle with breast cancer inspired Sue to create an organization that makes a genuine difference in the community. Together with an extraordinary staff and board, Unite for HER developed a national Integrative Care Wellness Program offering complementary therapies such as medical acupuncture, oncology massage, yoga, whole food nutrition counseling, and mental health support.
Through her leadership, the organization has expanded its reach nationwide, serving thousands of individuals and families while advancing education, accessibility, and wellness. Sue’s vision has been recognized across the healthcare and nonprofit sectors, earning her several prestigious honors, including the Be Well Philly Health Hero Challenge [ 2016] West Chester University Distinguished Alumni Award [2018] the March of Dimes Salute to Women of Achievement [2020] and the Catalyst of Care Award (2021) for her outstanding contributions to patient advocacy and integrative health innovation.
Under Sue’s guidance, Unite for HER has impacted over 10,600 individuals in the past year alone—transcending geographical boundaries to deliver healing, empowerment, and hope. Sue Weldon’s unwavering dedication has made Unite for HER a beacon of hope for those seeking holistic, compassionate care throughout their cancer journey. Paula Flory -Founder & Executive Director, Move Over Breast Cancer
Paula Flory is a 14-year survivor of Stage III breast cancer, an advocate, and a changemaker who transformed her diagnosis into an opportunity for leadership, service, and innovation. Her journey reflects the resilience and impact of women who turn personal challenge into collective empowerment.
Paula holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from NYU and served for seven years as the Director of the Breast Cancer Resource Center at the YWCA of Princeton, where she supported women and families navigating the emotional and physical realities of cancer. In 2020, drawing from both professional expertise and lived experience, she founded the nonprofit Move Over Breast Cancer.
Paula is the visionary behind the organization’s Mobile Resource Lounge and Salon, often referred to as the “Glam Van.” This one-of-a-kind, walk-in mobile space is a revolutionary approach to delivering breast cancer support—bringing dignity, compassion, and resources directly to women in their communities and removing traditional barriers to care.
Through her nonprofit work, Paula has traveled internationally to educate women and healthcare professionals about breast cancer awareness and the emotional impact of diagnosis, helping to foster more compassionate, patient-centered care across cultures.
Paula’s advocacy has been nationally recognized, including a feature on ABC’s The View. She has been married to her husband, Chuck, for 35 years and is the proud mother of two children and a devoted grandmother to one grandchild who brings her immeasurable joy. When she is not advocating for women’s health, Paula enjoys cooking, traveling, walking, and hiking. She is honored to share how one woman’s cancer journey can become an opportunity to uplift others and create lasting change.
Felicia Johnson
Felicia Johnson is a Breast Cancer Overcomer and Patient Advocate whose journey is anchored in faith, resilience, and purpose. After years of cancer surveillance, she was diagnosed with Stage IV, De Novo Metastatic Breast Cancer—a life-altering moment that revealed not only the weight of her diagnosis, but the deep pain of a family legacy marked by three generations of maternal breast cancer.
Felicia’s advocacy training includes Living Beyond Breast Cancer – Hear My Voice, FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered), and the Cancer Buddy Program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Phila, Pa. Her advocacy is driven by compassion and an unshakable belief that Faith equipped her to live with the trauma of cancer challenges and long-term side effects.
With a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and spiritual realities of cancer, Felicia’s heartfelt mission is to equip patients and caregivers across the breast cancer continuum. She is committed to expanding the breast cancer “toolbox” with knowledge and resources—so that patients and caregivers affected are empowered for their journey inside the Breast Cancer Continuum.
She is a living testament that while cancer may alter a future, it can repurpose life’s journey—renewing faith, strength, hope, and revealing purpose beyond the diagnosis.
