Book Babes Takes Xmas 2026

It’s official… Book Babes are back!

Get ready to kick off the holiday season in the most magical way. The Book Babes Take Christmas signing event is returning on Saturday 28th November 2026 and making its merry home in the beautiful, historic city of Chester at a fabulous venue The Queen of Chester Hotel which is the perfect backdrop for celebrating a love of stories while fully embracing the sparkle of the Yuletide season.

This year, the event is being led by a new, experienced, and slightly crazy team - a passionate group dedicated to bringing fresh energy, unforgettable moments, and a whole lot of festive fun to every part of the experience.

But don’t worry… J Thompson is still at the reins, she’s just brought some friends along for the sleigh ride!

The book signing is a perfect chance to come and visit both beloved and emerging authors from multiple genres such as romance, fantasy, mystery, paranormal and more, who will gather in Chester’s holiday glow for an extraordinary celebration of books, community, and Christmas spirit. Alongside them, a wonderful selection of vendors will be offering unique gifts, bookish treasures, and seasonal must-haves, giving you the perfect chance to jump-start your Christmas shopping in true festive style.

More exciting details will be revealed the closer we get to the event, but one thing is certain. This is a one-of-a-kind, joy-filled event you absolutely won’t want to miss.

The event will consist of a booksigning from 10am until 4pm followed by a private Xmas party in the evening from 7pm unil late, including welcome drink, hot buffet including freeflowing wine and beer, and disco and some other festive shenanigans!!!!. Dress code in the evening will simply be festive and you can be as formal or informal as you want. We are expecting a lot of xmas PJ's and onesies!!!
