Wendy Hall - Dementia Doulas Australia

Dementia Doulas Australia is a not for profit organisation formed to better meet the needs of families impacted by dementia. By fostering a community-centred approach to support and care, we aim to ensure all families have ongoing access to a Dementia Doula. We have brought to life a concept we knew would make a tangible difference in the lives of families by supporting the creation of an individualised support network around them that will be there on the good days, the bad and all that falls in between.Our hope is to enable and empower families to take control of the path dementia takes them along. To ensure they are fully equipped to step up to the everyday challenges dementia brings while standing with others as a united front. Our wish is to help bring back a sense of normality that may otherwise be lost.
