TOKYO HANDA-EN is a Japanese tea specialist with over 200 years of history, operating two physical stores in Tokyo, Japan. We introduce a wide range of Japanese teas — including sencha, hojicha, genmaicha, and matcha — working closely with producers across Japan — along with the stories, craftsmanship, and seasonal sensibilities behind it.In 2024, we participated in cultural and food events in cities such as Paris and Barcelona. Since 2025, we have been based in Sydney, Australia, where we share Japanese tea through wholesale partnerships with local cafés, restaurants, and grocery stores, as well as pop-up markets, workshops, and cultural events.We create calm, welcoming spaces where people can slow down, taste thoughtfully, and connect with Japanese tea in an accessible way.
