Cindy Castro DiRusso is a Producer, Event Producer, and Casting Director for TV and independent films. After casting a #1 hit for Chef Gordon Ramsay, Kitchen Nightmares, she is now the President and Owner of Smarter Move Talent. Her latest film as an NFT holder, “Calladita” is the first European film funded by NFT's now playing on Netflix Spain. She has produced many indie films that have garnered film festival awards and has created films for "Tubi Originals" that have charted in their top films and have hit #1, including "The Housekeeper" and "What Happens in the Dark." In 2025, Cindy was inducted into the International Indie Filmmaker Hall of Fame at the Indie Gathering Film Festival and Horror Hotel Film Festival. The U. S. House of Representatives recognized Cindy as a global filmmaker and Producer, by Proclamation in 2025.
