Pukekohe Central Kindergarten

Established in 1954, Pukekohe Central Kindergarten is a not-for-profit early childhood centre with a long history of serving generations of families in the Franklin community.We are a welcoming, multicultural kindergarten where children and whānau from diverse backgrounds feel included and valued. Our passionate team of qualified kaiako provide a stimulating, well-resourced environment that encourages children to explore, create, problem-solve and grow.Our play-based, inquiry-led curriculum supports children to develop creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills — helping them learn how to learn. Children and kaiako are partners in learning, with experiences shaped by children’s interests and curiosity.For over 70 years, our kindy has been a special place where tamariki build friendships, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
