Kathy Higgins F Inst MTD(she/her)Kathy has progressed from being a franchisee of a national driving school to running her own multi car school and encourages her instructors to undergo regular CPD, in the way of free weekly classroom sessions, which cover a variety of topics from fault identification to multicultural communication, and everything in between.She has undertaken a vast and varied amount of CPD herself including having passed every advanced driving test there is.She is a published author; her book is called ‘An Insight to Drive’. She has been working on NDORS (National Drivers Offenders Retraining Scheme) schemes since 2005 and is now a training quality monitor across all the police diversionary courses and runs a small business outside of the driver training industry, she has a good sense of humour and enjoys working with people.She is a trustee of the Upholland U3A (assistant secretary), she is also the secretary of the Institute of Master Tutors of Driving (IMTD).When she is not working, she enjoys church bellringing, walking the dogs, embroidery, singing for fun, baking, and very amateur dramatics.
