Honey Shine

Honey Shine, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage the balance of mind, body, and soul in girls and young women by providing nurturing experiences that enlighten their paths and empower their future. Currently, Honey Shine serves girls year-round with 4 Key Pillars of Impact: Mentoring, Social Emotional Wellness, Education, Enrichment, and Exposure. Honey Shine provides a plethora of enrichment activities, including a six-week summer camp for enrolled participants each year. Exposure trips, webinars, workshops, and other enrichment activities are offered to the girls, who are affectionately called ‘Honey Bugs’. These activities focus on life-skills lessons and educational experiences that include health, nutrition, sex and drug education, career mapping, and academic enhancement.
