Hard Rubber New Music Society

The 18-piece Hard Rubber Orchestra, featuring Vancouver's best jazz, classical and improvising musicians, was formed in 1990 by composer/musician John Korsrud. The Hard Rubber New Music Society, incorporated in 1992, is a non-profit, charitable status organization with the aim to produce shows that are uncompromising in artistic values, that generate audience curiosity and interest in new music, that promote contemporary Canadian compositions, that are fulfilling for all participants -- and to create events that are as unusual and exciting as possible.https://www.hardrubber.com/
