Micha Edwards, also known as Happie, is a self taught artist and Ontario community change-maker. They are the Executive Producer, Writer, and Performer of The Jewels of Jamaica Process, a debut creative work exploring the Queer-Jamaican-Canadian experience, the impact of immigration on well-being, and intergenerational healing through affirmative lyrics and immersive live performances.Micha loves traveling to experience diverse cultures, witness the wonders of nature, write, perform, and connect with seekers while sharing their creative work across the globe—feeling at home within.A student of New Thought principles and universal truths, Micha enjoys exploring the study of Being Meta. They also study and facilitate Rest & Eat in Peace experiences through The Happie Inner Quest. Their vision is to host a free annual city dinner for immigrants and Indigenous folks to eat in joy, peace, and silence in honor of the land and the future of food.Micha believes that inner peace and erotic joy transform bitterness and pain into jewels.
