Marion Fague-Bassis an experienced metalsmith and metal clay artist. She has been creating jewelry for 20 years and sells her creations through her online stores and at in-person events, art festivals, etc. She is a retired high school teacher which transitioned beautifully into teaching jewelry fabrication and metal clay. She is a Senior Certified Instructor for Art Clay. After several years of teaching at a local art center, she is now a resident artist at FAVO - Faith Arts Village Orlando, and works and teaches out of her studio there. She teaches introductory classes in metalsmithing, metal clay, basic jewelry making (beading and wire-wrapping), pearl knotting, leather knotting, etc. She offers open studio classes in metalsmithing and metal clay. In addition, she offers specal classes and workshops for specific projects, and special events.
