Boston Annex Players

Boston Annex Players (BAP) creates riveting performances that engage audiences in a modern sinfonietta experience. Not quite a full orchestra, but much more than a string quartet, we are working to establish a core identity as a collective of 15 musicians who develop a unique sonic signature as an ensemble, performing high-quality works typically under-represented within the professional music community. This novel one-on-a-part instrumentation allows us to reimagine and perform a more extensive repertoire of traditional works. Also, it provides new composers with more timbral options when writing for smaller settings.
