The Arizona Guide Right Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization, has been helping Arizona students develop leadership skills through grants and scholarships since September 2001. The mission of the Arizona Guide Right Foundation (AGRF) is to promote and develop the leadership potential of Arizona’s youth by providing grants to organizations participating in sponsored education, redevelopment, tutoring, leadership training, and career exposure.Since its inception, the AGRF endeavors to provide meaningful services to the metropolitan Phoenix community through programming and activities designed to enhance and enrich the lives of at-risk youth, senior citizens, and families in need.With strong corporate and community partnerships, the AGRF has a strong presence in the community and is well-respected for its demonstrated commitment to the community. The AGRF objectives are:To inspire service in the public interest through the cultural enrichment and character development of all males in need of our services between the ages of 5 and 25.To develop leadership skills while monitoring, encouraging, and rewarding outstanding academic performance.To refine self-image, self-esteem, social skills, and environmental awareness.To assist parents in the handling of their children by giving them opportunities to discuss their challenges with those who know and are successful in their chosen vocations.To afford the less fortunate youths a respite from the drudgery of “street life” through sponsored trips to ball games, zoological gardens, museums, picnics, hikes, etc.To extol the benefits of higher education, of assistance available for continued educational pursuits, scholarships, loans, professional counseling, and fellowships.
