Yin Yoga and Sound Bath

A 90-minute workshop combining a yin yoga practice and sound healing.

We will start with a nourishing yin practice accompanied by soothing sounds of the Tibetan and crystal bowls, and finish with a full sound immersion with a gong, Tibetan & crystal alchemy bowls, koshi chimes, an ocean drum and sansula.

Yin yoga is a gentle and meditative practice with a focus on function rather than aesthetics. It invites us to turn our gaze inwards and connect deeply with ourselves. The slow practice of deep stretching works on an energetic level to calm the nervous system, while physically targets the ligaments, joints, deep tissue and fascia and stimulates the meridian system.

Sound healing is an ancient form of therapy that works on a cellular and energetic level, entraining our body and mind to the healing frequencies and vibrations of the sound instruments.

The yin practice and healing sounds will all combine to help the body and mind release and let go of any stress or tension and bring the body into balance.

Bolsters, blankets and yoga mats will be provide, but feel free to bring anything extra for your own comfort - pillows, cushions, blankets and an eye pillow.

Studio doors will be open from 7.20pm only, and will be closed at 7.30pm so we can start on time. Late entry unfortunately will not be possible.
