Description:

Join acclaimed artists Guy Delisle and Beatrice Alemagna for a special double-bill event celebrating illustration as storytelling. In this 90-minute program, each artist takes the stage in turn, beginning with a live drawing demonstration that reveals their creative process in real time, followed by a short onstage conversation introducing their work and influences. Delisle, internationally known for his graphic memoirs and travel narratives, explores how observation and place shape story. Alemagna, one of Europe’s most celebrated illustrators, shares her distinctive visual language rooted in emotion, imagination, and lived experience. Together, these two consecutive sessions offer rare insight into contemporary illustration across cultures.

*This event is conducted bilingually in French and English.

*This event is presented in partnership with Francophonie Festival.
