'Women From the Sea' (The Hive X Earth.Org)

Women from the Sea – Azores” follows 71 women from all nine Azorean islands whose lives are closely connected to the Atlantic Ocean. Through their personal stories—ranging from fishers and scientists to artists and young girls—the film shows how the sea shapes their identity, work, and families. Gradually, it shifts from intimate memories to concerns about pollution, climate change, and marine conservation, portraying these women as both dependent on and committed to protecting the ocean.
