Women Changing Cities Book Talk and Panel in Oslo, NO

As cities around the world face mounting crises - climate change, traffic congestion and growing inequity - the need for bold, people-first solutions has never been greater. Enter the women leading the charge.

Hosted in partnership with Asplan Viak and Hoi! Oslo, join an evening of insights and discussion from the book, Women Changing Cities: Global stories of urban transformation.

Highlighting the groundbreaking work of female mayors, planners, advocates, and policymakers the book shares stories of reshaping urban spaces for the better.

Following a presentation into the events that inspired the book will be a panel discussion with local leaders reimagining mobility, and designing safer, more inclusive public spaces in and around Oslo, Norway.

Panelists include:

• Anine Hartmann - Lead adviser for walking, cycling and new mobility at Asplan Viak AS
• Kari Anne Solfjeld Eid - Builder and transformational leader and Founder of Whee! + Hoi! Oslo
• Daniel Piatkowski - Associate Professor of Land-Use and Transport Planning at OsloMet, and author of Bicycle City: Riding the Bike Boom to a Brighter Future
