This Lammas gathering invites connection, gratitude, and shared presence as we mark the first harvest, notice what has come into fruition, and consider what is asking to be tended next, supporting grounding, seasonal awareness, and connection with others.

What Awaits You

Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku): We’ll wander mindfully through the trees, awakening our senses, grounding our energy, and soaking in the wisdom of the earth. This meditative walk will leave you feeling deeply connected and renewed.

Guided Journaling & Harvest Gratitude
Using guided prompts, journaling, and heart-centred conversation, we’ll explore Lammas themes and acknowledge what has come into fruition within our lives. This practice offers space to recognise effort, express gratitude, and clarify what feels meaningful now.

Lammas Harvest Rituals: Celebrate the abundance and gratitude of Lammas with meaningful rituals that honour the connection to the natural cycles of growth and renewal.

Seasonal Grounding Practice
The gathering includes a guided grounding practice designed to support rest, regulation, and connection with the natural world. This experience invites you to slow down, settle your body, and relate to your surroundings in a calm, supported way.

Tea Ritual & Lammas Season
Join us for a seasonal tea ritual honouring Lammas and the first harvest. We’ll share herbal teas as a guided sensory practice, bringing attention to taste, scent, and warmth. This gathering offers a grounded space to slow down, connect with the body, and consider what you want to continue tending as the season begins to shift.

Essential Details:

• 📍Location & Meeting Point: We’ll meet at the car park of Duddingston Kirk on Duddingston Road West (opposite Holy Rood High School). The car park entrance is just before the turnoff to Old Church Lane. From there, we’ll take a short walk to the nature reserve.
• What to Wear:
  Dress for the weather with comfortable layers, waterproof clothing, and sturdy walking boots for navigating forest trails.
• What to bring: A thermos of tea, a cup, a journal, a pen, and any snacks you enjoy. You’re also welcome to bring songs, poems, or personal expressions to share.
