WELCOME TO THE NORTHSIDE PRESENTS: ZOOROPA – LIVE AT OPIUM DUBLIN

To celebrate 50 years of U2, Welcome To The Northside proudly announces the first live show of its landmark Dublin weekend — marking both a major milestone for the band and 10 years of Welcome To The Northside celebrating U2 in their home city.

Zooropa will open the weekend with a special live performance at Opium Dublin, delivering a set that blends the U2 songs everyone expects with fan-loved deep cuts and hidden gems. Known for capturing both the sound and spirit of U2’s music, the band promise a night that celebrates the breadth, ambition and emotion of the catalogue. There may also be a special guest or two on the night, making this a unique opening show.

Presented in association with U2 Dublin Fan Club, this event forms part of a wider weekend programme across Dublin City, including additional live music, fan meet-ups, guided U2 walks, an exclusive movie screening and other special moments still to be announced.

Now in its 10th year, Welcome To The Northside has become an annual meeting point for U2 fans travelling from Ireland and around the world — offering the chance to not just hear the music, but to walk the streets, share the stories and celebrate U2 in the city where it all began.
