A somatic and breath-led journey through the four seasons
Feeling out of sync or exhausted? A seasonal journey to move, expand, release and rest—reconnecting with your body’s natural rhythm.
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Modern life often asks us to keep moving, producing and adapting even when our bodies are asking for something different. Over time, this can leave us feeling exhausted, disconnected or out of rhythm with ourselves.
The Seasonal Journey – Moving with the Horse is a series of four embodied workshops aligned with the natural cycles of the year. Through somatic movement, conscious connected breathing and nervous system awareness, this journey supports you to reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence.
Rather than pushing change, we learn to listen.
Each season invites a different quality:
- Spring — awakening and balance
- Summer — expansion and vitality
- Autumn — release and integration
- Winter — rest and restoration
Together, they form a complete somatic cycle.
🐎 MOVING WITH THE HORSE
The Horse symbolises instinct, freedom and embodied power.
Across this journey, the Horse guides us to:
- sense when to move and when to pause
- expand energy without burning out
- release what is no longer needed
- rest without guilt or collapse
This is not about doing more. It is about moving in rhythm with life.

🌀 WHAT TO EXPECT IN EACH WORKSHOP (3 HOURS)
Each session includes:
- Grounding and arrival practices
- Somatic Movement with Cori Gentle, trauma-informed practices to support regulation, release and embodiment
- Conscious Connected Breathing with David A continuous breathing technique to support emotional release, clarity and vitality
- Integration and closing practices
No prior experience is needed. All bodies and levels of experience are welcome.
🐎 The Seasonal Journey – Moving with the Horse
Each workshop can be attended on its own, or as part of the full journey at a reduced price.
The full journey includes:

- ☀️ Summer Solstice – 21 June Expansion, Vitality & Unbridled Expression
- 🍂 Samhain (Halloween) – 31 October Release, Descent & Returning to the Body’s Wisdom
- ❄️ Winter – 11 December Stillness, Integration & the Quiet Power Within

🌱 WHAT IS SOMATIC WORK?
A body-based approach to nervous system regulation that recognises the deep mind–body connection. It supports:
- Release of stored tension and stress
- Awareness of sensations and emotions
- Safety, presence and embodiment
🌬️ WHAT IS CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHING?
A continuous breathing technique where inhalation and exhalation flow without pauses. It helps to:
- Calm the mind and energise the body
- Release unconscious emotional patterns
- Access clarity, insight and inner wisdom
🔑 WHY COMBINE SOMATIC WORK & BREATHWORK?
Somatic work prepares the body and nervous system, gently creating safety and release. Breathwork deepens and amplifies the process, accessing emotional, physical and energetic layers.
Together, they create a holistic, embodied journey.
👥 ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS
Cori Trauma-informed, integrative somatic therapist and founder of KOA Edinburgh and KOA Unplugged the Podcast. She creates supportive spaces for nervous system regulation and embodied presence.
David Breathwork facilitator and coach specialised in Conscious Connected Breathing, guiding nurturing sessions for emotional release, integration and vitality.
