About This Event

Join health psychologist Dr Sula Windgassen for a practical talk exploring the mind-body connection. With Q&A.

Do you struggle with persisting pain, fatigue or other mysterious symptoms that just won’t go away? You’re not imagining it – your body is sending real signals, and understanding them can change everything.

Join health psychologist and internationally recognised researcher Dr Sula Windgassen for a science-informed talk exploring the mind-body connection. Drawing on her clinical experience and research, Dr Windgassen will help you understand what’s happening in your body and how your mind and environment can influence your health.

In this talk, you will:

  • Explore the mind-body connection and its impact on symptoms like burnout, IBS, chronic pain, and other persistent issues
  • Learn to recognise symptom spirals and take practical steps to ease them
  • Discover how to set meaningful healing goals

This event also marks the launch of Dr Windgassen’s new book, It’s All in Your Body, which redefines how we understand pain and symptoms. Books purchased will be pre-signed before the event.

Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!

Speaker Bio:

Dr Sula Windgassen is a health psychologist who has dedicated her career to understanding the powerful intersection between physical and mental health. An internationally recognised researcher, she regularly collaborates with leading institutions worldwide and has shared her expertise in publications like Women's Health, Psychologies Magazine, and Red Magazine.

Dr Sula’s specialisms, in women's gut health, gynae and the bladder, are borne out of her own struggle in her early twenties with debilitating back-to-back urinary tract infections and intense migraines. Desperate for answers, she enrolled in a master’s in health psychology at King’s College London and began a lifelong journey to understand the mind-body connection and its impact on chronic pain and illness.
