Salamander Drama and Puppet Theatre invites you to experience “The Forest Song,” the iconic masterpiece of Ukrainian classical literature by Lesya Ukrainka.

This is not merely a performance.
It is the breath of an ancient Ukrainian forest.
It is the voice of a soul longing for freedom.

At the heart of the story is the love between Mavka, a mystical forest spirit, and Lukash, a young musician. Their connection is born between two worlds - human and mythical, material and spiritual. It is a story of love as a trial, freedom as a choice, and betrayal as a wound that echoes through both worlds.

Dedicated to International Theatre Day, this premiere becomes a journey through the mysterious Ukrainian forest, where mythology awakens and human destinies unfold. The audience will immerse in family traditions, cultural heritage, and the timeless tension between social expectations and the call of the heart.

Театр драми та ляльок «Саламандра» запрошує вас на постановку культового твору української класики - «Лісова пісня» Лесі Українки.

Це не просто вистава.

Це - подих прадавнього українського лісу.

Це - голос душі, що прагне свободи.

У центрі історії - кохання Мавки, лісової істоти, та Лукаша, юного музики. Їхній зв’язок народжується між двома світами - людським і міфічним, матеріальним і духовним. Це історія про любов, що стає випробуванням, про свободу як свідомий вибір, про зраду, що ранить серце.

Прем’єра, приурочена до Міжнародного дня театру, перетвориться на подорож крізь таємничий український ліс, де оживає міфологія й розгортаються людські долі. Глядач зануриться у світ родинних традицій, культурної спадщини та внутрішньої боротьби між усталеним порядком і покликом серця.
