Celebrated Canadian Actor, Catherine McNally, will deliver a 2-hour talent and acting masterclass as part of Siné Institute Industry Conference.


Event Details:

SinĂ© Institute Industry Conference is an all-day event holding six masterclasses from industry veterans to support film makers on their journey. As part of the SinĂ© Institute Industry Conference, Catherine McNally will be holding a masterclass at George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus, on March 5th between 9am and 11am.


Through this masterclass with Catherine McNally, attendees will learn coaches in acting, empowering the next generation of storytellers with authenticity and skill.

Catherine McNally Bio

Actor, acting coach, co-founder of McNally Kennedy Acting, Catherine McNally is a celebrated Canadian actor known for her powerful portrayal of Mary Anne Trump, Donald Trump's mother, in The Apprentice, which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, and went on to receive 2 Oscar nods , 3 BAFTAs, 2 Golden Globes, and swept five Canadian Screen Awards—including Best Motion Picture. Her performance was praised for its depth, nuance, and emotional intelligence, anchoring the film’s psychological complexity.


A Dora-nominated performer and international fellow of Shakespeare’s Globe under Mark Rylance, Catherine over 100 theatre and 50 film/T.V credits. Catherine has also appeared in Schitt’s Creek, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Murdoch Mysteries.


She’s a sought-after acting coach, co-founder of McNally Kennedy Acting, and a passionate educator committed to empowering the next generation of storytellers with authenticity and skill.
