Program Content/Learning Objectives

Finance is called upon to play a central role in gathering, analyzing and organizing data to meet agency accounting and regulatory requirements, provide information to agency management to oversee grants, projects, and day-to-day operations – with a view to long-term financial sustainability. Key steps include identifying ongoing improvement opportunities, determining changed obligations, understanding resultant requirements, and implementing new business processes and systems – in concert with change management. • Explain system implementation pitfalls and victories experienced by sister agencies.
