Olivia Flood-Wylie is coming home for one night only!

One of the originals of the Amsterdam underground comedy scene is flying in from Los Angeles to perform her new comedy special with That Comedy Thing.

Olivia is a Los Angeles–based comedian whose sharp wit and disarming charm have won her fans across continents. After moving to Amsterdam, she rapidly shot to local underground superstar status in no time and went from five minutes at our open mic to undisputed headliner all over the city.

She made her stand-up special debut with Slowpoke at the Boom Chicago Comedy Festival in 2021, followed by her second hour, Half and Half, in early 2023 — both showcasing her fearless storytelling and intelligent observational humor.

In 2021, Olivia performed her hour with TCT at Clink Noord, which will forever be one of the most memorable nights in That Comedy Thing’s history. Mid-pandemic, in a very narrow window when comedy shows were allowed, tears flowed — and not just from laughter. We are super proud to announce that we are revisiting the venue for a one-off.

Olivia’s comedy blends sharp observation with playful curiosity about life and is deeply personal. She is, quite frankly, one of the best comedians we have ever come across — and we mean that!

In 2022, she moved back to the U.S. to continue building her comedy career and is a frequent guest at festivals. She has also been seen at the legendary Comedy Store, sharing the poster with some of the greatest names in comedy.
