ZANDRA

Zandra is made up of Zandra, Dan and Dom. Leaning towards folk but given a good sprinkling of ambient sounds and drones. Pin-drop quiet and intimate. Their songs hold onto a simple humbleness that the chaos of everyday life tries to drown.

THE GENERATOR (Short Film)

In a future drained of colour where energy credits are the new currency, a zero credit balance leaves one man with no option but to physically power his ailing husband’s hospital treatment. But as his energy fades, so does the possibility of a future together. An arresting eco-parable from writer/director Georgie Cowan-Turner, supported by Film Hub Midlands, and BFI NETWORK with NATIONAL LOTTERY FUNDING.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Globe, is a ten-minute walk from Glossop train station. The Globe serves great vegan food until 9pm and cheap beer - we strongly encourage you to come early and enjoy it!

The bands playing at TBC #17 will be finished by 10.30pm at the latest - the last train from Glossop back to Manchester Piccadilly is at 10.52.

We will be accepting donations for Glossopdale Foodbank on the night of the show. The items that they particularly need at the moment are: tinned meat like chicken in white sauce or stewing steak; long life milk; tinned fruit; tinned custard; rice pudding; tinned sweetcorn; tinned vegetables; toilet paper; soap; shampoo and conditioner.

The event will take place in an upstairs room; unfortunately no lift access is available so stairs will need to be navigated.

Our events are, and will always be, safe spaces for trans people. As a collective we will actively support and advocate for the trans community. Trans people will be represented on our line ups and we hope in our audiences as well.
