Description:
In this JP Morgan Summer Reading List book, AI pioneer De Kai examines how AI’s widespread integration leads to an automation of thought, affecting our unconscious mind. Drawing on decades of influential work at the intersection of AI and society, readers navigate personal and societal interactions with AI responsibly and ethically.

As responsible adults, we must consider our actions carefully. While Hollywood often depicts rogue AIs as a threat to humanity, the real danger lies in humanity's self-destructiveness under the influence of hyperpolarizing AI algorithms.

Plainspoken and visionary, Raising AI illuminates our evolving attitudes in a shared world with AI, encouraging a compassionate and humane future where we all contribute alongside our artificial counterparts.

About the Speaker:

De Kai invented and built what became Google / Microsoft Translators. Since 40 years ago he has been a pioneer of language models, leading to the chatbots we know and love today. For 10 years De Kai’s focus has been AI ethics and society, advising governments globally.
